Power Poles
Power and other utility poles are put through the same environmental stresses as other tower structures. High or frequent winds and/or unstable soil conditions may apply uneven load on the foundation and cause cracking or other disrepair.
To strengthen and improve the soil underneath the foundation of the pole, various forms of grouting and/or underpinning may be used. Chemical or cement grouting may be chosen or site specific underpinning techniques, depending on the soil makeup, size of the application, or existence of surrounding structures.
Gibson’s Pressure Grouting has been providing ground improvement and foundation repair to commercial, industrial, and municipal clients since 1985 throughout the southeastern United States.
